Small Running Groups in Kingswinford - West Midlands
These groups were started as a stepping stone from starting out as a Beginner (Couch to 5k) to building confidence to join a local Running Club.
The key to these groups is that they are small in number - maximum of 12 people which allows the opportunity to support each other along the way. Believe it or not, there is a lot of chatting that goes on during our runs!
The groups are inclusive and friendly. New cohorts begin at the start of each academic term, although everyone is welcome to continue their running journey with us regardless of time frame.
As a former PE teacher and an England Athletics Leader in Running Fitness, each session is planned and delivered to challenge individuals through differentiation. Sessions are varied to include different methods of training so you learn HOW to train from the start.
Monday - 6pm - Beginner's (Couch to 5k)
Tuesday - 6pm - Improver's (5k +)
Tuesday - 7pm - Inbetweener's! (4k - 6k)
Friday - 9am - Trails (5k +)
